Brooks was the Kings' 1st round draft pick in the 2010 Frontier League Tryout Draft. Brooks finished up a strong college career at Georgia College & State University where he hit .330 as a senior with 6 HR's & 47 RBI in 54 games. He was named All-Conference 2nd Team.
